Lines and wrinkles form when we make repeated facial expressions.  A purified protein can be administered to relax the muscles responsible for causing these lines and wrinkles. Treatment involves a series of small injections into areas such as the glabellar region (between your eyebrows), the forehead and the common ‘crow’s feet’ area (around your eyes).  Anti-wrinkle injections prevent facial muscles in the treated areas from contracting, resulting in a soft, smoother appearance.

The treatment will begin to take effect within 2-3 days, however the full effect can take up to 14 days.  The duration of action is approximately 4 months, with a longer lasting effect following repeated treatments.  The effect wears off gradually, and muscle activity will eventually return to normal should you choose to have no further treatments.
